Subsea Fasteners

Refined, low alloy steel with effective corrosion protection is the preferred choice for Subsea applications and ASTM A320 L7 & ASTM A320 L7M for sour gas are the favoured material specifications. In the 21st century these materials are more commonly sourced from countries whose culture may pose a quality and performance risk and therefore the phrase “Western European origin” is a common requirement for any Subsea fasteners.

We understand the need for full material traceability for Subsea use and the peace of mind that our products give in the fulfilment of their role within the assembly. BNM manufacture bolting specifically for subsea applications which have been performance tested at the rolling mill and again during our manufacture to ensure full adherence not only to the product specification but also the intermediate raw material specification. Heat and cast traceability is maintained throughout our production.

Whatever, your quality requirement, to we can provide you with the documentation package needed to satisfy you, your clients and your inspection authority.
